Notes:
In the Bahamas now, as we slowly make our way to Florida where I'll (reluctantly) put this sailing boat on the market.

I love it out here--it is so peaceful--but it's funny how cold it is compared to the southern Caribbean. It's a completely different climate--it even gets chilly at times!

At least we don't have to run the AC.

On that note, the boat seems to be holding up very well, especially since we've sailed more nautical miles this season--2,500 nm in total--than I've ever sailed in a single season. It's a testament to my thinking that boats must be used regularly (in conjunction with maintenance, of course) or they rot, as our boat has never been in better shape. Admittedly, however, it also proves the point that selling her is the best decision as, with life being what it currently is, we would not get to use her regularly for the foreseeable future.

Why so much about the boat? I dunno. There seems to be nothing else of consequence to mention ... the market took back some gains and life hasn't changed much ... so why not?
