Ouch. I didn't do my net worth last month as I was travelling and honestly I knew that my stock portfolio had taken a hit. Combine that with the fact that I had to pay a $37,500 lump sum in corporate income tax and what you get is a nearly $17K drop compared to when I last recorded the numbers in early May. All of my investments have taken a hit across the board, which accounts for the main reasons for the drop despite income still coming in. Such is life, hopefully now is an opportunity to pick up some decent bargains on the market.

I am also going to drop a large amount on a house in the near future, and still waiting for my condominium to sell, so there may be some more carnage before things move back in the right direction again. I may not hit my net worth target by the end of this year, which was $2,000,000.
