| The DOW was off over 4% this month so that hit our retirement and investments. We are still recovering from Therapy Notes hacking. Last month I loaned $50K to the company to cover that and I still haven't been paid back on that yet. Brandon and I are not taking any draw yet. MS and I had a $35K tax bill due by the 15th for Fed taxes so that hit our cash flow also. We also bought a $7700 John Deere mower for the cabin, but as of the end of the month the check had not cleared, so that amount is not reflected. MS and I went to the cabin for 5 days to get things more settled. Sean, Emilie, Kelsey and Jaelee joined us and helped out, especially putting in shelves in one of the closets. Jeff and Linda lost their lease and now they are considering moving to LA. I don't know how he'll get his business going without any networking there. We also went to Brandon and Philly's for Thomas' first communion and the day before went to Iowa City to watch Alyas play touch football. We also went to Carl Sundeen's funeral and spent one night with Barb and Ed at their home in Willmar. Got the oil changed in the Vulcan and the Harley dealer and got the Honda going up at the cabin with a new battery from Ace in Crosslake. Jess was done this month in Ames and we hired a friend of Austin's named Bethanie. She will start in June in the Ames office. Brandon and Melany came to the Ames office. Melany worked with Caroline and Brandon interviewed and hired Bethanie while he was here. |
