Congratulations! Is your retirement bucket all in retirement accounts? If so, how would you FIRE before being old enough to pull from retirement? I'm planning on switching up our savings next year for exactly this reason - we are ahead on retirement savings that can't be accessed until retirement, and need to start funneling more into investments to get from possible FIRE to traditional retirement age.

No, I have 3 brokerage accounts, roth ira, sep ira, ira and 401k. Then the wife has a lot also. So it's all over the place, got tired of entering them separately. The idea is to pull from the brokerage accounts and leave the others alone until 59 1/2. I will try to do a roth ira ladder also if my income is low enough in early retirement. The best thing to do is open up a brokerage and have it weekly auto deposit into VOO. There are SPIC limits, that is the reason I have so many brokerage accounts. I have Vanguard, Interactive brokers and Betterment(flex portfolio all into VTI and AGG, only way to use them). I would only use Betterment as last resort because of this. I eventually will transfer betterment funds to tdameritrade.
