Notes:
1st Week of August: For the first time since the Covid induced market crash and the resulting market meltdown, month of July saw a dip in net worth growth. Does this forebode anything? Late last week saw a minor bond rally and with that a rally in banking stocks. Bitcoin/Ethereum have been on tear lately as well.
2nd Week of August: DIS earnings rocked. Chinese tech-sector is selling off because regulatory concerns.. big home renno expense coming up as well as equity vesting.. should see some interesting dynamic changes in NW on my next weekly updates.
3rd week of August: Market weakness continues. Bill Ackman published another surprise curveball on his tontine and I received equity from my employer.
Final Week of August: Fed Chair Jackson Hole Speech most certainly added a rocket fuel to the markets. For some reason the value trade has bounced back with vengeance and so ha my portfolio. Glad to see August ending on a positive note!
