Notes:
1st week of new year: Value reversal is playing out. My style of investing has been in vogue for this week, after a very long time. Interest rates are creeping up and I am thinking of refinancing to lock in low arm rates with the intention of paying off house in the next 3-5 years
3rd week of new year: Bank stock earnings release.
4th update for the year: Market panic has begun! What a brutal week.. esp for growth oriented tech stocks. My portfolio also got hit big time ...NW down >3 % in a week :(
Final update for the Month: Market volatality in full swing. We are seeing index fluctuating 4 % on a given day! After quite a bit of selling pressure earlier in the week, on Friday, markets finally rebounced back strong, closing in on the biggest positive single day rally since June of 2020. My portfolio, while did not exhibit as much volatility, it still suffered and I am down for the month!
