About Me
Born in 1963, happily married since 1987 and two daughters who have careers following 6 years each at Uni.

Now mortgage free and aiming to join my wife in retirement in 2023.
Why I Joined
I was on networthiq.com for many years but it folded / stopped working. I've always had an interest in personal finance as our inheritances are minimal so have to focus on building assets that can generate income for ourselves in order for me to retire at 60.
Best Financial Decision
Getting on the property ladder aged 24 in 1987
Worst Financial Decision
Having kids!
Current Investing Strategy
Build up UK S&S ISAs and SIPP so I can retire aged 60 in 2023
How do you manage your finances?
I have a net worth excel which I update weekly and save a copy of monthly with tabs for all my financial stuff.
What tools do you use?
Excel and online accounts for SIPP, ISA and bank accounts

I also use Reddit to pick up knowledge and understanding. Best thread for me is r/UKPersonalFinance although I do pick up tips in the various FIRE threads too.
