EOY Target was $117,823 (original plan from December 2009).

I always depreciate our vehicles in December, so the drop this month is party because of the Kelley Blue Book car values.

2014 was financially dismal for us.

Our target was $117,823 and ended the year at $108,409. At the mid-year mark, we hit our target net worth, but the stock market regressed, and we funded our 2015 vacation travel, so those set us back.

For the past few years, we'd been ahead of the curve, but only because the market carried us.

I feel we'll fall even farther behind our 2015 target, as our lack of saving discipline over the last few years will start to show in the form of a lack of growth. The power of compounding only works if you actually save money :(

We cleaned out our savings, and even pared back our 401k to basically nothing. We are basically starting at ground zero to rebuild our savings.
