My retirement account total is ~1/2 of MB50's, and had an increase of +18k in December. Only 2-3k of this was direct contributions, the rest was growth. So I'd assume most of the change MB50 had was due to market growth also rather than direct contributions? Implying the numbers are due to investment mix as opposed to savings rate .... in case wbam is wanting to mimic the results? :) I have very little in individual stocks so no advice from me on that part!
