Notes:
Good news! I recently learned about a retirement account I have through the University of Washington. This account will add roughly $5000 to my retirement and is invested in ultraconservative assets. Gotta love those windfalls... I realize my goal to "double my net worth this year" is likely unrealistic simply because I would need to save 100% of my pretax earnings in order to do so. I've revised my goal to "reach $150,000 in net worth by the age of 30." I believe I'll have a good chance of achieving this goal and it appears realistic. Also, I purchased 27 shares of China Mobile (CHL) this month and will be looking forward to the dividend reinvestment from this large cap Chinese stock.
