Notes:
In the month of August, my summer roommate moved out and I started to panic about not being able to continue on with my debt snowball in the way I had over the summer. I had made good progress, and the thought of stopping or slowing down was distressing. Due to work demands, I had not been able to get the side gig. I decided to be action-oriented and re-posted my ad. I received tons of inquiries, and within a week had rented the 2nd spare room out to another PhD student from the University!! I was so encouraged by that! She is a great girl and gets along really well with my other roommate. At $600 each, that's $1,200 extra a month to keep the snowball growing and rolling onto the 401 (k) loan. I feel so blessed!
