May was a good month in that we got 3 paychecks on the bi-weekly pay cycle. That happens twice a year; I had forgotten that was coming up in May, so that was a very pleasant surprise. The student loan snowball payment goes out automatically in conjunction with payroll hitting my checking account, so I didn't even have to think about it. As a result, all things being equal, I should only have 3 months and change until the dreaded student loans are a thing of the past!!! Snowball is now at $3,000/month however, the mortgage loans are currently on interest only payments, so I look forward to ending the student loan payments and making bigger payments on the mortgage and HELOC.

Home value actually inched up this month. That's a first!!! =D
