Retirement Accounts

TSP (401(k)) = $822,447
ROTH IRA = $91,242
TRAD. IRA = $12,012

Decided to start throwing an extra $1K at the mortgage; basically going back to the pre-refinance payment and timing payoff with full retirement age of 57 (I.e. in 9 years).

Spending has been pretty high the past 12 months, and I blame pandemic blues as well as a more YOLO approach to life/consumption over the last 2 years. Also doing more ‘doomsday prepper-type’ stocking up from Costco and Amazon; another vestige of life since March 2020. I’m going to start severely reigning this in and going back to my previous frugal habits.

Hope to add more to my bi-weekly stock buys in the coming weeks also. Currently dollar cost averaging in VTSAX at $500 every 2 weeks. Been anywhere up to $1,750 biweekly (prior to extra mortgage payment). Need to find a comfortable spot and stick it out for the long haul.
