As of March 31, 2013. "Cash" = personal cash. "Stocks" = all non-registered equity investments, combined personal and corporate holdings (Canadian/US/International Index Funds & ETFs). "Bonds" = corporate cash (including actual cash and fully-liquid assets such as money invested in high-interest savings accounts). "Retirement" = all registered investments. "Other Assets" = TFSA account (Considered an "emergency fund" which holds only fixed-income assets). "Other Debts" = Interest-Free Loan.
Trying to tidy up all of the investments this month led to a little bit of disorganization, and obviously the markets were flat too. Slowly building a portfolio of dividend-paying blue chips that I will intend to hold for a long time. Have switched most of my bond fund into the Vanguard equivalent, probably will do the same for the other index funds shortly. Otherwise steady progress, no surprises otherwise. |
