Notes:
A big relief: I finally completed the refi on my house this month (and rolled the costs into the loan, which is why the mortgage shows a higher balance). I'm pretty happy though, since I managed to get a 30yr fixed loan at 4.5%. I paid about 0.7 points & origination plus around $1800 in other closing costs. The main benefit is that my house payment drops from 2650 to 1145, which allows me to pile up cash reserves pretty fast in anticipation of a prolonged weak economy.

I also completed my taxes, and am expecting about 1600 in refunds. I will also make my 2008 ROTH IRA contribution next week.
