Put $20k into iBonds - should have done this a while ago... paying 7%. Too bad there are purchase limits.

Company is prepping for a spin-off - two years out. Still not profitable, so there will be job cuts without a doubt. They usually come in March. I've gotta wonder how many more times I'll make the cut. My retirement clock stands at 866 days.

Looks like we got out of college at the same time, have similar occupations, and plan to retire around the same time!

I've heard I bonds are the way to go lately. Haven't made the plunge myself yet though.
