| Marcella was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in May and MS and Emilie stayed with her for much of that time, as did Barb, to take care of her until her passing on Tues, June 16th. MS called me at 7:30 and I cancelled my clients for the day and headed to Willmar. We had the burial at Ft. Snelling on Friday, June 19 and the service in her back yard on Saturday. We came back that Monday to Ames and MS and I worked on the house until July 5. The DOW up 1.5% for the month and off 5% for the year. I bought MS a new 45th Anniversary Ring ($10,600 - took $5000 out of my Roth IRA and $2000 as a draw from the company and $3000 from money marked from Ed Jones to pay for it.) and wrote a love song for her. Jeff had a violent incident at his work and had to fire the employee involved and many of his staff quit in protest. Fixed the power steering in the Lincoln for $844 and received $2400 from the Fed Government for the virus relief. I reassessed the value of the house based upon town houses in the area. I re-valued the autos - they are getting pretty beat up. |
