Notes:
Pretty crazy month. With Marcella passing June 16, 2020, I took the rest of June off through July 13. Other than my heart attack in 2005 that was the longest time off work for me. MS and I came home from Willmar the Monday after Marcella's funeral and worked on straightening out our home due to the construction in the kitchen, which after 7 months is still not done! Then we went back to Willmar to sort out her things and give things away, etc. MS got home July 14 and took her 4 days to recover, she'd giving of herself almost three months in a row. Now she's finishing up her house (coat area stained and island painted and doors in pantry installed). Emilie was a godsend with helping with her grandmother and helped the whole time (she was the only one between her, Mary Sue and Barb, who could lift Marcella). She also could help because of the corona virus deal. Meanwhile, she's finishing her degree and hoping to find a school admin job for next school year. Marty played 42 rounds of golf for his BD and I told him I was 42 when I started my Ph.D. Time flies.

We've had trouble with the Lincoln with the air conditioner. It shuts off intermittently. So weird. I stained the deck twice. It looks so much better. We had lots of eating out and driving. I put on over 2000 miles on the LIncoln. MS got some jewelry at Elmquist Jewelers in Willmar (a bracelet, baby cups for Madeleine and Thomas) for $600 +. I took a $2000 draw on July 1 to pay off the US Bank card I charged for the updated wedding ring for MS. I spent $10,600 on it altogether in June and July. We bought a bunch of things at various stores for modifying the kitchen to put stuff away in the $400 range.

Andy had time off for a tooth ache, and Brandon and Carol both took a week off and Lynn Conner is no longer working for us. Brandon started paying me back for his 10% share of H2HC starting ($15,000 total at $250/ month added to "Bonds") this month and that will go into Fundamental Investors mutual fund at Edward Jones. Last month we switched Brandon to my Edward Jones guy as Ed Jones had separated us out a year or two ago when Bill Kent retired. So weird. Brandon got Bill Kent's son and I got Gabe. I req

I gave MS a saws-all for her BD and Brandon my Trek bike I wasn't using and we sent Marty some cash for his BD. Paul told us with the house Marcella had $750,000 in assets, which, I think, we get a third of that. Coming back from dropping off the bike to Brandon I ran into a hail downpour that damaged the roof. Great.

Jeff's restaurant had an incident last month with a Filipino worker punching out a customer when both were drunk and Jeff had to fire him and he went on a racist social media firestorm. Jeff has been pursued in other places and he's interested 'cuz he's realized he'll never own his own property if he lives out there. He's primarily interested in a place in Atlanta, GA. He's also dating a gal named Vanessa from Santa Clara, who is a dental assistant and working on her hygienist degree.
