Notes:
Dow up 2.31% for the month and 7.5% of the year. We gave $500 to each of the kids and $50/per grandchild this month for Christmas from Mary Sue's inheritance from Marcella. We also spent another $2000 on Christmas gifts. We'd previously paid for our week's vacation at the cabin in Crosslake (about $2000). We also paid two months rent at the end of last month ($3562) for our new office in CR and $672 for a new sign Marty made for that office. Plus $200 in $50 Christmas gift cards for the staff. Andy formally resigned last month and his last day was December 22. Joy's last day was just before Thanksgiving. Both Emily Owen and Valerie Steepleton started 9-3 M-F in our offices in Ames and CR in December. Alyssa Caldwell started seeing clients in CR also. We went out to the Holiday Lights at Reimen Gardens with Judy and Randy Covey and then to Wig and Pen in Ankeny for Pizza. Emily graduated from her degree program for school administration (way to go Emilie!). We made the trip to Crosslake. Left at 5 AM and got there at 12:30. Marty and Emilie had to stay overnight in a motel on their way to Crosslake due to the snow storm. Brandon and Philly and family were able to come - 11 of us in a cabin across from Paul's. I ended up sick, was tested for Covid in Brainard and I ended up with it. Got it from Emily Owen in my office. Now everyone had to isolate. I had it the rest of the year.
