NOTE: Due to a change in the source data available for calculating the value of my property portfolio, I modified the formulae used to estimate the current market values of our real estate investments to bring the calculated values closed to recent market sales results for similar properties. The formula change resulted in a one-off reduction in the estimate value of my properties of about $40,000.
My net worth total for Sep 2011 and subsequent months is therefore about $40,000 lower than would have been the case if the same property valuation formula had continued to be employed. |
