I did not transfer another chunk of $12k into mutual funds this month, as we have exceeded our remodel budget by a good bit. Between the remaining remodel expenses we expect and flight lessons costing more than anticipated, we've elected to retain the remaining $24k in cash. It's okay though - I'm pleased to see the initial $48k has already gained a reasonable amount amidst all of the volatility!
Credit card is pretty high this month - just waiting for things to post and hit the statement before paying if off. August may well look similar. |
