No budget, but more less just watch spending and don't inpulse buy. My stock portfolio consists primarily of Apple and some BOA using Robinhood as the broker. My retirement is a 457 consisting of a few large cap mutual funds, mostly invested in FCNTX (Fidelity Contrafund). |

I don't have a strict budget either, mostly just tracking my spending thru mint.com. I'm a federal employee, so my 401k is via index funds. How long have you been maxing your retirement? This is my 5th year maxing as it was impossible before then, my upgrade in pay really helped big time. |

Sorry just saw your comment now.. interesting, I'm a state employee and have a 457 plan. I've probably been maxing mine out since about 2014 after a raise got me to that point. Before that I believe I was doing about $500 per pay period. |

I have a few, FB, PSEC and some speculative stocks haha...I'm not that good in picking individual stocks, unfortunately. |
