I was able to repair my car, but at $2200 my savings took a good hit.
I also spent $1000 on health insurance, I'm now covered until July 31 of next year. The up-front fee covers the entire year.
I'm owed about $200 from a work trip, so that's good.
I've accepted student loans for the fall, but haven't actually received them yet, so the debts won't start until next month.
I expect a few more miscellaneous expenses around moving (I have my stuff moved, but am far from settled!), getting a new laptop (decided to wait on that until the student loans come through), etc., but overall I'm much better off this month than I'd expected!
Also, with my car in running condition again and health insurance in place for the next year, I'm setting myself up for success . . . right? :) |
