Notes:
Just got back from vacation, which is paid off since the credit card bill was auto-paid while I was gone. I signed the paperwork for my merit pay increase (3%) today, so that goes into effect with tomorrow's paycheck (3/3). Profit sharing was dispersed for 2016 in the past month as well, which was nearly $8k (6.5% of eligible income). On vacation boyfriend and I decided get married this year (which was already discussed/planned) and probably have a child next year (previously undecided). We also discussed, again, buying a house next year. So the goal for the next 6-12 months is save, save, save! Also I realized that my income for last year *might* be over the limit for my Roth IRA contribution, and this year definitely will. I won't know for sure about last year until I do my taxes, but since I rolled over my 403(b) into my Roth it counts as income for 2016 and therefore might push me over the limit to be eligible to contribute the full amount. If boyfriend and I do not get married this year, I will definitely be over the limit to contribute the full amount, so I'll have to figure out how to undo that (and whether there are penalties).
