Notes:
First month of "combined" tracking! One of my new year's resolutions/2018 goals is to completely shift my thought from "my accounts" to "our accounts." :) Next financial goal of 2018 is to decide how much we need to keep in cash for a down payment for a house, and move the rest to investments. The husband has been much better about this historically than I have, hence the amount of stock skyrocketing now that I'm tracking both of our numbers here.

I considering moving from "mine" to "ours" as one of the top moves for our marriage (financially speaking, but as time went along - we can relate that sentiment to other areas as well). We initially opened a joint bank account, but kept our old accounts, at different banks might I add (nostalgia?) but over the years (especially once we grew our family) we just used the joint account. It really just simplified life, which was a huge bonus.
