A few months ago I bumped up my Roth 401k contributions, so this year I will max out for for the first time.
Also right now I have a work visa in progress and am working through logistics to spend ~4-6 months in Japan for work. Since we plan to sublet our apartment, we should be able to set aside a good amount of money since my company will pay for housing while we are there.
Between this work trip and us thinking about having a kid later this year, 2018 is going to be a crazy ride (financially and otherwise). But I'm excited about the (rest of the) year ahead! |
