Correct - that's (most of) the huge drop in cash and stocks. :)

Nice feeling being debt free! I miss that. We've been putting more into new cars and stuff that's been increasing in price drastically lately instead since our interest rate is only 3% and most of our regular payment is going to principle already. Paying the house off with stock funds was probably a wise choice. Housing with steady gains vs stocks doing nothing but drop lately.

In the short term it appears to be a wise choice, but we weren't really doing it from a "what's financially best" perspective. We were doing it from a "what would give us peace of mind" perspective, and I can definitely say .... market swings haven't concerned us one bit, since we have virtually zero short-term obligations.
