Notes:
Projecting for December...

This year my goals were:

Short-Term Goals (by 1/1/2022):
1 - Two rentals paid off.
2 - $12M total real estate sales.
3 - $1.75M NW

Mid Term Goal (by 45 aka: 1/1/2025):
1. 10 investment properties paid off.
2. NW = $3M

Looking back now, these goals were big. Like always. I was close, but didn’t hit most of them. I think the past few years have made me change my ideal of what I am striving for…life has honestly been good the past few years. This is weird to say...but I am starting to feel like I have reached the top end of where I want my day-to-day workload to be. I have created a lot of success over the years at operating at 150% all the time...at times I felt like I was just buzzing through life trying to survive the immediate term and hope that what saving/investing I was doing would some day pay off. Right now, it feels different. I'm finding contentment with my day-to-day pace and life overall. I no longer feel the need to "grow" my investments by size or to "grow" our sales business. I don't want either to shrink either. I think I'm realizing that I'm really starting to see the fruits of labor (education, work ethic, real estate investing, life priorities, etc). I honestly haven't been excited by the goals I set for the past few years...they just haven't gotten my juices going. Now that I am starting to accept that the size of our investments/business may be great...now need to shift to making those investments produce the best returns they can for the longest time they can. Who knows...I might be able to make the perfect job for myself.
