1/19/24 - Slight reduction in retirement value despite some contributions as a result of post-NYE market fluctuations. Still sitting on some cash due to anticipated HVAC expenses along with considering where to direct efforts, new windows for the house or pay down the mortgage (4.125%). I missed the bus on the pandemic re-fi rush and while I'm below the going rate, I could be sub-3% right now.

Extra cash may be limited going forward as I'm anticipating a job change in the near future; not my own, my S/O's. I may wrong but there may be a gap in employment requiring subsidizing. My scarcity mindset kicks in and I begin squirreling away cash.

The remaining balance on the CC has already been budgeted for, I just haven't transferred the cash over to close out the line item.
