Notes:
OK so I lied. I realized it's kind of ridiculous to not adjust the home value when it's clearly on the move. So I've devised a personal system that will keep slightly adjusting the home value as necessary without being subject to the volatile swings in the market. Granted I'll always be "chasing" the true value, but at least the net worth line won't look like an erratic heartbeat. I also moved $5,000 from savings to the emergency fund, increasing the account to $25K which not only extends that lifeline, but it's now in the next bracket for a higher interest rate. Not much, but it's something. Other than that, it's been a relaxing month. Not much in the way of outside freelance jobs, but I do like to enjoy summers so that's fine. Fall season usually picks up, so there's that looking forward. Also, due to a slip-up in my health insurance, I should be receiving a tidy sum back from my provider. I may use those funds to buy the last piece of furniture I need for the house. Or I could use it for other things. We'll see how it goes.
