| The expense carnage continues. Finally got the timing belt done on the car, but also had to replace the water pump as well, not to mention getting the car smogged. This gateway to 100,000 miles isn't so rosy, methinks. I've spent twice as much as anticipated. (At least it can all be written off on taxes.) Also chalk up spending for birthdays and that puts me in the highest CC debt I've had in a while (though I know some of you would love to have "only" a $3K balance.)
The one big expense for myself was a new mini stereo receiver set for the office, but that was using Paypal funds from all the stuff I've been selling off, so that's nice and evened out. Music gigs are steady, and freelance is still a little slow but should be picking up as summer draws to a close.
I'm just going to enjoy the rest of the summer and try to see more friends. That's what extended daylight is for! |
