| It appears I'm still not getting any breaks as far as unexpected expenses are concerned. The worst offenders for September were calling out the plumber ($200) to fix a clogged sewer line, and the catastrophe of losing my cell phone while traveling ($1050 replacement, although broken into 24 payments). The rest of the month was pretty brutal, with the family trip to Texas, sparse extra jobs, a struggling stock market, and my house value appearing to have stalled. Dare I say I've reached a plateau for 2015?
I'm still on track to reach $20K in my savings before the end of the year, but that's only one piece of the puzzle. I need to get my business account up to the same amount but with all this garbage going on, I'll be lucky to hit that before the end of next year! I may have some extra side jobs in the works but that depends on a number of things so I won't worry about that until it's imminent.
I still keep hoping the worst is behind me and that I can continue my ascension, but I'm not going to bank on it in this crazy world! |
