Notes:
Well, I WOULD have crossed the $500,000 mark, but I just had to go and front all my reservations for the Hawaii trip in June (which works out since rates are cheaper when paying ahead of time). That's on top of mini-shopping sprees, and picking up the latest Nintendo Switch console (despite using a bunch of gift cards). Thanks to all that, I missed the milestone by a sliver, so the bubbly will have to be saved for next month. In the meantime I've reached the goal I set for the end of 2016 but was a few months late. There is now $25K in each of my emergency, savings, and business accounts, along with the $10K balance in the checking account used for bills. This was the point where I would be thinking about a new car, but heck my current one still runs OK and I may want to give auto technology another year or two for some new gadgetry before dropping $$ on that. If I can put it off to 2020 then that'll be great. Income was plentiful with checks coming from a TV/film gig and a nice little bonus from work, along with all the other usual sources. With Easter coming, the church gigs will pick up. Also going to give the credit card a break for April and keep that debt from overheating. This is where it's at. Come back soon.
