Notes:
The retirement balance made a nice comeback, even into record territory. Can't say for sure if it will continue that direction, but it's nice to be at the top end of things.

I could technically afford Apple's new $6000 Mac Pro that I've been waiting years to purchase, but that price does make me balk, and due to a first-year design and using "older" technologies, I've decided to hold off for now. In the meantime, I'm in the process of upgrading a 2010 Mac Pro for about $500 (additional memory, faster dual CPUs, and a speedy SSD). This will be used as my one and only primary machine for a year or two before future hardware revisions are released. Not exactly the plan I had in mind but will definitely get me by until the dream machine I want arrives. Eventually.

After months of research, I've also begun the test driving phase of new vehicles. I'm set on a 2020 model (or bust), but those won't be out until the fall. I've learned it's hard to find exactly what you want on the lots. Ordering direct would be the solution but negotiating power is lost with that move. Whatever happens, the next vehicle is one I will be keeping another 10-15 years so it's gotta be just right for me until reaching my upper-middle years. I may just throw my hands up and keep the Saturn for another 5 years as long as it holds true.

Nothing else worth mentioning at this time. Can't have fun every month!
