Notes:
For the midpoint of 2019, it's time to recalibrate!

First, the bulk of my business funds moved to a CD earning 1.75%, instead of sitting in business checking doing nothing. I also rebalanced checking/savings and moved a small chunk to a new taxable brokerage account at Fidelity. Never dabbled in this specific arena before but it seems the best way to get my feet wet. I started off with an 8-week US Treasury Bill, mostly because returns from those are not state-taxable. It's not generating much more than a mutual fund, but saving a few bucks on state tax is kinda satisfying. When that matures I'll figure out what else to invest in.

Still in the middle of upgrading this 2010 Mac Pro to become my new primary machine. I purchased a pair of CPUs, 32GB of memory, and a 2TB solid state drive ($550 total). Just need to reinstall software and move things around so I can get all this extra hardware out of my office! Maybe it'll be ready by end of August?

Trying to keep expenses down everywhere else while traversing through the lighter summer period of freelancing. That's all for now!
