Another major expense has befallen my poor budget this month, with a filtration system installation in order to help get rid of the water issues plaguing my primary residence. I can add it to the cost basis of the home, but otherwise slows my advance to seven figures. Despite all that I'm able to officially pass $900k, the final hurdle. This last $100k will be the most grueling!
Stocks and real estate keep doing their thing, but there's signs of cooling on the real estate side so I doubt my properties will jump as much as they have been. On the bright side, I'd love to purchase another investment property early next year, but only if the numbers make sense (right now they don't) so in the meantime just do the norm. That decision will be re-assessed at the end of the year. |
