Notes:
Sadly, this entry will be the last to fall within the 35-44 age range of my peers. Time to level up to the next (45-54) demographic, where the competition is a bit more fierce and humbling as far as net worth and salaries go.

But to complement the new era, I will also be changing my salary demographic to $100K+, since last year's income on my Social Security statement broke the threshold, and according to my mid-year figures, I'm certain to break it again for 2022. If anything changes, I'll knock it back down, but starting July I'll join the other 6-figure makers here to level the playing field.

In other news, well, it's all been pretty BAD as far as markets go. Not even home appreciation can advance the net worth for this month. I've about run out of dry powder, although I did some routine mid-year rebalancing and pitched a little more cash into the brokerage fund. Everything is obviously way down so I could either pick up some more ETFs or stocks for a better deal, or wait and see if it drops lower. Doesn't really matter in the long run, as long as it's higher than now in 20+ years!

As you can see by the lower credit card balance, inflation has really put a damper on spending. It's almost a certainty that my home renovation projects and a new car are going to be way more than anticipated, so have to keep the savings rate up. I'm just hoping my current vehicle and appliances will outlive the replacement dates.

That first half went by fast. Will things turn around for the second half? Do a rain dance and hope for the best!
