Career: Last month I was looking into a project that was way too big for me. I also faced some headwinds because of performance review things one week and being on call another week. Now I switched to something more doable and also don't have those headwinds so I should show faster progress.
Life: Husband started sleeping early and waking up at 6:30, so I also sleep by midnight and wake up by 9 now. I appreciate this change because he used to watch TV till 2am and it would get loud and disturb my sleep. Now I read for an hour cuddling him while he's asleep. He's also happier to have free time in the morning while he has energy. Yay for win-win!
Financial: Tech stocks went down quite a big in the past month, this has an oversize effect on me because a third of my net worth is invested in Nasdaq and big tech stocks. I believe in the companies, this will be a temporary dip.
Health & wellness: Spring has arrived and I started working out in the past month. Felt really lethargic for three months in winter and hardly did anything but yoga. Now I've lined up a few options for cardio workouts and want to be fit for some family weddings coming up. |
