Notes:
Career: I went on vacation for a week in October so I never build momentum on work tasks since my last entry. It's piled up quite a bit now. I'm just trying to acknowledge that I've been a bit burnt out and lazy in October and that I can complete my tasks before launching the product in December.

Life: I went to a friends' wedding in mid-October and went to the big island in Hawaii for a week in late October. The wedding was great because I got to reconnect with old friends. We met as college students and now lead very different lives so we got re-acquainted with each other. Hawaii was amazing; it was magical to go night snorkeling and we saw half a dozen manta rays.

Financial: We filed 2021 taxes on the tax extension deadline. We owed 54k so now we owe a 1k late payment penalty and 1k of accrued interest. I'm honestly relieved to know this is the extent of the pain, at least on the federal side. We had planned and saved up for most of this but we still owe a bit more after emptying those savings. We paid property taxes which were due in December and filed for a homeowners exemption to get a small discount.

Health & wellness: I am getting back into strength training. My partner is cooking more while I take over a bunch of tax, property, and banking paperwork. He uses lots of veggies and I'm happy with the dishes he makes 99% of the time. Very rarely I'll make myself something or want to order out if I feel picky. I'm also making sure we eat lots of fruits. I'm meditating a bit more and feel very content with life overall.
