March was a decent month for the stock market. It's now close to where it was before the correction. In other news, we purchased a replacement car after I'd driven my previous car (Scion tC) for more than 160,000 miles, and it had over 200,000 miles total. Maintenance costs were beginning to creep up, and an oil leak started. Also it was only 2 doors, which doesn't work well when you have a car seat. I should be able to sell it for about $2000. The new car is a 2011 Camry XLE with 90,000 miles and it'll last for many more years. Who knows, it could even be my son's first car in 8 years. |
