Notes:
May is an exciting month as I am finally moving away from my current duty station and getting ready to begin a new chapter in my life. While most folks have to worry about dealing with numerous expenses related to moving, the Army is pretty awesome in offering some financial compensation to make up for the additional financial burden. Giving my rank and status as a single individual, I stand to make a profit from my PCS move. At the same time, I am taking another vacation as well to decompress from the long hours I have spent at work since coming back from the deployment, so in the end, I will probably break even. I am working my way through the Intelligent Investor and hope to have it finished up before the month of June. The other assets column is currently reflecting my savings account with ING, which I am committed to building up to a sizable amount over the next few years.
