I'm halfway through my maternity leave already. (boo!) Part of me wants to use our savings to finance a year off for this kid, but I'm pretty happy with my job and don't want to lose my position. My 401K contributions are indeed being deducted from my short term disability payments, which is good, because we are doing fine with my net pay as it is. Still need to make those remaining Roth contributions. I might wait until paychecks are back to normal before doing it, though.
