Notes:
We spent a lot of time this month getting our house ready for company over Christmas. MS hadn't felt well for over a year with her breathing issues, plus helping her mother during her final months and before that she was working. We have a lot of stuff to cull and re-arrange. By month's end we still aren't done but making headway. We decided to get a Murphy bed for the downstairs bedroom so MS could make that into a sewing room. We took the bed from there to Brandon's for Alyas to move downstairs and Mr. Murphy's dresser for him, too. On that trip we had our office Christmas party at Granite City Brewery in CR. We bought two ottoman's and an sofa end table from Redeker's and ordered another chair for the hearth room ($2500). We bought two TV's - one for the bedroom upstairs and one for the family room in the basement ($1500) . We rearranged the loft for a study for me and made a family room in the basement. At year's end we were going through the things in the storage room. Mid-month Emilie had a car accident. She wasn't hurt but we brought up the Camry for her to drive while her other one got fixed. Marty and Amanda, Sean and Emilie came for Christmas here and we hit Hickory Park and Reiman Gardens and Great Plains Pizza. We took the old oak ISU Library Table to CR for Caleb because he asked for a desk for Chirstmas. While at Brandon and Philly's we went Bowling, and to church, had waffles, bone-in rib eyes and grilled shrimp, watched Warrior basketball, MS and Philly set up Alyas' room and put together ginger bread houses. Dale McLeash our CPA told me we made $300K in 2021! Unreal. Very thankful. That increased the amount we needed to pay for tithing and we gave $16,500 to Church. Overall the stock market was up for the year so that helped our investments (18.75%).
