Well definitely overspent a little more than I expected, but all is good.

I am expecting a sizeable tax hit, so I elected to pretty much stop investing in the TSP for CY 2024. It does suck, but it is all good. I feel very good about how much I've saved thus far. Having no kids or a spouse is probably helpful as well : )

I paused my TSP contributions for a time too. In my case it was early on in my debt free journey and to accelerate my pay down. I did resume but missed out on some 2008-2009 bargains. Also I wasn't as savvy then and was probably contributing 10% or less. Good luck to you.
