Notes:
Last day of November was a yet another market bonanza day. For the month of November, SP500 rallied up >9 %. The traditional 60/40 portfolio also had the best month since the fall of Berlin wall. FOMO is catching up again. Time to be fearful again!

Second week into December and expenses seem to not end! CC outstanding bills is now $13000, highest ever we have reached! Lifestyle creep is killing us! The sad part is for the next couple of months, I do not see the spending ending instead only growing!

Need to reign in these expenses sooner than later!

Markets (esp the fab 7 are on tear with no end in sight apparently). Stay invested but also taking some gains and moving to cash is not a bad idea to pursue!

Dowish Powell comments for sure added fire to flame in the markets, esp for sectors that are interest rate sensitive. December is turning out to be a bonanza month for market participants, including myself. Timely, given that I foresee lots of upcoming expenses as we begin our travels starting tomorrow through end of the year!

Christmas eve is here and soon we say adios to 2023 and look forward to the year 2024! 4th quarter rally in markets have washed away all the pains of 2023 and it looks like we are entering 2024, an election year with a sense of bullishness for the rally to continue!

Final Work Day of 2023 and final NW update for the year! Made one change in my final update (added approx value for property in native country), to reflect true NW. We started year at NW ~3.14 M, and ending the year with NW ~3.72 M, an approximate gain of 18.5 %. In a year when SP500 produced gains of ~25 %. Laggard year vis-a-vis SP500 then. Partly, lifestyle creep is to blame and partly being overly conservative with investments is to blame. All in all though, inching close to the 4 M figure and am hoping to be well past that number at this time next year.
